- To indicate the period of time after which something hapened |

- Al + Infinitive: To indicate simultaneous actions |
Al entrar lo vi. When I went in, I saw it. |

Yo veo a Juan. I see Juan. Yo veo a mi perro. I see my dog. |
- With definite pronouns alguien, nadie, alguno, ninguno, cualquiera, when referring to humans |
No veo a nadie. I do not see anyone. |

- Signifying "in, inside" |
El cuaderno está en mi mochila. The notebook is in my backpack. |

Tu libro está en mi escritorio. Your book is on my ddesk. |
- With time expressions - months, years, and other expressions of time (but days of the week: Yo estudio inglés los lunes. I study English on Mondays) |
Yo voy a Argentina en diciembre. Im going to Argentina in December. Mi profesor no quiere hablar del examen en este momento. My professor does not want to talk about the test at this moment. |
