Cluster Computing

A cluster is a collection of interconnected computers that work as a single system and provide high performance at a low cost.
In this course, we will study
(0) building a cluster (hardware assembly, Linux installation, network configuration, system administration)
(1) programming a cluster (scripting in Perl, MPI)
(2) experimentation with cluster systems.
