1. Schwarz, Lathrope & Hellwig, Fundamentals of Partnership Taxation (10th ed. 2017). Older editions are way too out-of-date to be used safely. This is the first time this edition is being used on our campus.

2. Schwarz, Lathrope & Hellwig, casebook supplement, distributed by email (hard copies available).

3. Lathrope (ed.), Selected Federal Taxation Statutes and Regulations (West, “2018” edition, published in summer 2017; or “2017” edition, published in summer 2016). Please have the “2018” or “2017” edition of the Code (2018 preferred). Older editions may not have all the materials we will be using, particularly in the regulations. There should be plenty of used copies of the 2018 edition around, as they were used in big sections of Income Tax I in the fall term just concluded.

4. Statutory supplement, distributed by email (hard copies available).

Please bring your Code volume, the casebook, and the handout materials with you to every class.
