(Since he is very rich, he doesn’t have to work)

Ellos estudian porque no hay otra alternativa.
(They study, because there is no other alternative)

Como/Puesto que es muy estudioso, saca buenas notas en sus exámenes.
(Since he studies a lot, he gets good grades in his exams)
